Quick guide - configuring "My Apps"
Configuring “My Apps” in SharePoint is a straightforward process:
1. Edit page: Go to the SharePoint page, enter edit mode.
2. Add Web Part: Search for and select the “My Apps” Web Part.
By default, My Apps web part will be initialised with 3 default app icons. This is to help you get started.
3. Click ‘Manage Apps’ to customise My Apps
To create a new app, either click on the + New button at the top left of the library or drag and drop your icon file into the library.
After uploading the icon, click on the icon to open the details pane and edit properties like Name, Title, Target URL, Mandatory setting, whether to Open in a new window, and Sort order using the right side toolbar.
