📄️ App Catalog Permissions
Use the below steps to add yourself as a Site Collection Administrator for the App Catalog. You will not be able to install or upgrade Sprocket if you are not a Site Collection Administrator
📄️ Technical Architecture
Sprocket consists of a client layer, which is implemented by two Microsoft SharePoint Framework Apps. The client layer reads data from various external systems, such as Microsoft Graph or SharePoint Search and displays this data in web parts within a SharePoint site.
📄️ Guest Access Support
When Sprocket 365 is deployed into the App Catalog of a tenant it will house the required javascript files in the App Catalog site collection. By default the permission for users to access these js files is "Everyone except external". The impact is that when you want to allow externals to SharePoint we need to change these permissions to "Everyone" so that everyone, including external users can access the js files.
📄️ Installing on Individual Site
For larger organisations, specifically when their IT is managed internationally or by a third party, you may not be allowed to install Sprocket globally to the whole tenant.
📄️ Sprocket Actions
Sprocket Actions, included within your subscription, provides a set of custom actions which can be used in the Microsoft Power Platform to automate common tasks. For example, create Site Collection Template, Apply Site collection template, Convert Word to Page, Convert word to PDF.
